Mike,
The MITgcm seaice package has been evolving, but if you are using the
LSR sea ice model, the original info about the model can be found at
Zhang, J. and W.D. Hibler: On an efficient numerical method for modeling
sea ice dynamics
<http://psc.apl.washington.edu/zhang/Pubs/zhang_hibler97.pdf>, /J.
Geophys. Res./, /102/, 8691–8702, 1997.
As for the snow model, the original snow model info can be found in
Zhang, J., W.D. Hibler, M. Steele, and D.A. Rothrock: Arctic ice-ocean
modeling with and without climate restoring
<http://psc.apl.washington.edu/zhang/Pubs/zhang2_98.pdf>, /J. Phys.
Oceanogr/., /28/, 191–217, 1998.
Cheers, Jinlun
