[MITgcm-support] problems with MPI

Dear All,

 

Thank you very much for your great attention to my problem with MPI.

 

I am happy to solve it. The problem was in bed installation of MPICH
which used ifort version of FORTRAN by default instead of g77.

MPICH was not in agreement with ifort. 

 

I reinstall MPICH with -disable-f90 (and thus ifort) and now everything
is OK!

 

Your ideas and advises really helped me to understand the reason and
solve the problem.
