[MITgcm-support]*.m files with Octave

Dear MITgcm support,
   An update on the gluemnc error that Lee was seeing for posterity.   
The version of gluemnc Lee was using wasn't able to recognize float  
precision output files.  The newest version of gluemnc (1.8) does.
