[MITgcm-support]*.m files with Octave

Hi Baylor and Dimitris

The log files are the error messages and the other outputs from diagnostics
pkg. produce
the same error with the log file from state.*.nc.
and Yes, I got Octcdf downloaded, let me see whether it works.
