[MITgcm-support] external forcing

Hi Nicolas,

What coordinates are you using?
I recently had this problem when I tried to force a channel model with a 
wind stress. I had to switch from cartesian to spherical coordinates.
That was the easiest fix. Maybe there were other possible workarounds.
As far as I understand, the 'exf' package interpolates data both in time 
and space. It assumes the data are defined on a spherical grid and 
doesn't always correctly interpolates it onto other kind of grid.
