[MITgcm-support] noise in high resolution run

Martin, is your noise grid scale, can you see it in T/S, is KPP turned on, and 
have you undefined KPP_SMOOTH_SHSQ and KPP_SMOOTH_DBLOC in KPP_OPTIONS.h?

If so, there is a grid-scale noise associated with KPP and with advection, which 
can be removed using horizontal filters in the KPP code.

I usually find that KPP_SMOOTH_SHSQ and KPP_SMOOTH_DBLOC are sufficient.  But a 
few more KPP filters are also available if needed.

Look at KPP_OPTIONS.h for details and bug me if it is cryptic.
