hi hong,
andrea here again.

the answer that i gave you is only if you have the 'exch2'
package turned on in your run (see packages.conf) - if not,
then jean-michel gave you the correct formulae.

also, the .meta  files that you get as output will give
you the x and y indeces for each tile.

i also don't get why the XC and YC files don't have the proper
lons and lats....
