[MITgcm-support] multidomain modeling

Hi,

Is the MIT GCM a multidomain model? Perhaps I am not using the 
right term.. I am interested in models that simulate many domains 
then combine those periodically. For example, one model might be 
population another climate. Each model is defined by a set of 
differential equations and initial/boundary conditions. The 
models timestep individually on a fine level of granularity, then 
communicate their state with one another model on a coarser grain 
timescale. Is the MIT GCM such a system?

Does the MIT GCM team have open office hours (I am also located 
in Cambridge) ?
