[MITgcm-support] 3D floats

Sorry for the late follow-up to this thread, I've been away from the 
office for a while. 

Antti Westerlund at FIMR has been working with 3D floats for a while, and 
has a working implementation that was presented in the EGU meeting. It 
would be useful to merge the efforts for the 3D motion before the final 
check-in. Antti can be reached at Antti.Westerlund at fimr.fi.
