[MITgcm-support] Shaved cells

The arbitrary shaved cells are implemented within the numerical core but
there are no initialization routines for constructing the appropriate
geometric factors. This is a deliberate move since the partial steps are
more stable, more robust and easier to interpret.

Subject: [MITgcm-support] Shaved cells
Dear MITgc support,
I was wondering if the shaved cells to represent the bottom topography
are available yet instead of the partial cell representation. And if
not, I would like to know if there are any plans to implement it?
Thanks,
Sergio Jaramillo
