Dear Amitabh, what exactly are you trying to study. Configuring an
Antarctic-region
model is easy, but calibrating it so that it produces reasonable and useful
results is a
very big job. I am wondering whether you would or could consider using
existing
Antarctic ocean and sea-ice circulation estimates for your study.

In particular, we are right now working towards a 20-km horizontal
grid-spacing global solution:
http://ecco.jpl.nasa.gov/cube_sphere/ and we are putting a lot of effort in
the ACC region.

Could you make use of these ocean and sea-ice circulation estimates for your
study?

Dimitris
