Dear Sir,
 I have downloaded your MITgcm recently and now want to do some research with it. I have read part of the tutorial, but I still have some difficult to applied it to open boundaries (see ./verification/exp4/). Does the OB_Jnorth(3)=4 mean (i,j)==>(3,4)? If so, why in the file named data.bumpchannel (see exp4/input/data.bumpchannel ), MIT use the format as this:
# Open-boundaries
 &PARM06
 OB_Ieast=0, 40*-1, 0,  --> Does it mean: 0,-1,-1,-1,...,(total:40),-1,0  ?
 OB_Iwest=0, 40*1, 0, --> Does it mean: 0,1,1,1,...,(No. of 1 total:40),1,0 ?
 &
I have write a matlab script to draw the topography of bump-channel.
Is the above means that east and west boundary are solid wall? (total 42 grid)
Does my interpretation right? by the way, there some ?? in your mannual. And how to prepare a wind stress,I think, should be detailed( though I can prepare it with matlab script).
