Detlef,
thanks for the message.
That exact statement doesn't exist anymore in the latest code,
but a few similar statements still do exist.
In fact, we have fixed (hopefully all of) them recently,
after noticing that type inconsistencies in the MIN/MAX
functions cause problems with some compilers.
