Hi Tor,

 Thanks for the info. 
 S/R INI_VVEL was "retired" a couple of
weeks ago and replaced with a routine that initialises the
both parts of the horiz. velocity vector in one stage.
We needed to do this for better cube sphere grid support.
The bug is not in the new ini_vel() routine. ini_vel() will
be part of c40 ( not out yet ).
