 sounds good.

 JM - thanks. Lets hope its just the solver
tolerance. Makes some sense - the aspect ratio
is very different so the target tolerance 
may well be different. Note - going crazy after
reaching the lower limit is ok for neumann 
probs. there is a free mode which
allows the cg solver to jump around looking all over
for something to get it below the target tolerance.
also the pre-conditioner can complicate the behavior
at convergence.

 sai - j-m likes to play with time-stepping. just
do whatever he says unless it seems really crazy!

 
 if it still doesn't run forward stably then i would worry
about ro_surf et. al, but otherwise we can ignore them
for now.

 nh shouldn't be needed. i just thought it might give
extra clues if we were still stuck.
