[Mitgcm-support] RE: release1

don't delete release1-bracnh before i've finished using it.
would it be good to have a better way of 
noting what is the official CVS repository
tagging and branch structure. doc/tag-index
is the raw material, but information about
release1 is only on the branch "release1"
so its hard to know its there unless you already
know its there!

release1-branch is the false start created in the middle of nowwhen

I'll delete release1-branch when I get back from GFDL unless some kind
person wants to do it sooner...
