Hi All,

Whats the status of thin walls? Should they work
in the current code?

Chris

Hi Chris,

I found one little problem in the output - at the first timestep, the
horizontal winds are zero, then 5 minutes later they are around 50 m/s,
then at 10 minutes, they are 100 km/s, then at 15 minutes they are faster
than the speed of light, and become infinite or nan by 20 minutes. This
acutally happens to both u and v. The temperatures get a little wacky
after about 10 minutes too, and most matter is vaporized, I think. In
general, I don't think you'd want to live there. The winds are global, not
localized to the wall area.
