[Mitgcm-support] cg2d.F bug?

Alistair,

I'm currently searching for reasons for differences between the classical
MIT, Detlef is using, and version c30.

The statement 
       err = SQRT(err)
is missing when the stopping criteria is calculated in the beginning of
cg2d.F
That makes the first evaluation of the  stopping criterium in cg2d
 different to that used during the iteration.
Is it really missing or intentionally left out?
