[Mitgcm-support] geopotential time_average

Hi Jean-Michel,

 Sounds fine. The way time averages are handled in
GM/Redi is the official "right" way. The stuff
in-line in write_time_averages is kind of kludgey.
So if you can do it the GM/Redi way that would
be good.
Neither is perfect I know!!
