 The recipe for using IVDC convection is 

 ivdc_kapp=100.,          ( data PARM01 )
 implicitDiffusion=.TRUE. ( data PARM01 )
 cAdjFreq=0.              ( data PARM03 )

 Alistair/JM does this look right?
