[Mitgcm-support] some bugs about wordlength and min (PR#46)

I found some bugs (maybe I am wrong):
1) wordlength is undefined (both type and initial value) in any *.F or
*.h, but was used in mdsio_reclen.F and ini_parms.F

2) the 'min(...)' used in gad_dst3fl_adv_x.F etc. has mixed data type of
arguments, this is a problem while compiled on IBM AIX, but OK on T3E and
Linus machine
