saltStepping should be true is you are predicting salt even is you are not
restoring it.
tauSaltClimRelax=0. will turn off salt restoring.
tauCD should be left unchanged in the global ocean tutorial and otherwise
set to zero; you don't want to use it for anything other than very coarse
resolution work.

I am starting to use the MIT code for the ocean modifying the tutorial
experiments.
I would like to understand
1. when to use the tauCD parameter and how to choose a right value? 2. if
I don't want to restor the salinity but only the temperature, how
should I set tauSaltClimRelax and saltStepping?
