Mazhaipu,

OB_Ieast=0, 40*-1, 0

is standard f77 short hand for 

OB_Ieast=0, -1, -1, -1,  ...., -1, -1, -1, 0

and the model interprets -1 is meaning nX+1-1. The alternative is

OB_Ieast=0, 80, 80, 80,  ...., 80, 80, 80, 0

It is only a short-cut we added for convenience so that it is easier to
change the resolution of the model. The relevent code that converts the
index is in

In the future, could you refrain from using Word files for correspondance.
It is time consuming to convert documents into a format we can read.
