[MITgcm-devel] how to create results/output_*.txt on reference platform

Hello all

I know that the way to create results/output*txt files for changed verification experiments is villon.mit.edu as described here<https://mitgcm.readthedocs.io/en/latest/contributing/contributing.html#test-experiment-directory-content>. If we do not have access, is there an accepted way to create the files, or will this be handled by the core administrators when a PR is merged?

I ask because when working on a branch it might be useful to update the results file in my branch for a machine I am likely to use for development. Will this just be overwritten upon merge then?
