[MITgcm-devel] problem accessing cvsanon at mitgcm.org

Hi Jean-Michel,

sorry for being imprecise.

I now tried to checkout MITgcm on many different computers here at AWI, e.g. my MacBook:
bkli04m001::tmp> cvs -d ':pserver:cvsanon at mitgcm.org:/u/gcmpack' co MITgcm
cvs [checkout aborted]: connect to mitgcm.org(18.83.4.210):2401 failed: Operation timed out
or
bkli04m001::tmp> cvs -d ':pserver:cvsanon at mitgcm.org:/u/gcmpack' login
Logging in to :pserver:cvsanon at mitgcm.org:2401/u/gcmpack
CVS password: 
cvs [login aborted]: connect to mitgcm.org(18.83.4.210):2401 failed: Operation timed out

also a linux-box, our Cray CS400 (ollie) and our NEC SX-ACE (stan), and it’s all the same: pserver does not work, ext does.
