Hi Bruno,

There is a delay (~1 hour or so, may be more, I would need to check)
between the moment you check-in in a modif and the time it shows up
on the "viewcvs" web page. So it think it's "normal" (but not great).

However, the "cvs commit" message did not go through (yet), and
it's likely because the machine from which you made this "cvs commit"
is set-up to send email with the "From" address that is different from 
the one your register at mitgcm-cvs mailing list.
I will allow, later today, "bderembl at forge.csail.mit.edu" to post to the list
mitgcm-cvs (but not right now, because I forgot my password for this).
