[MITgcm-devel] ITD code in seaice_model

Hi Torge,

thanks for your reply. 
I am a little puzzle, though. Your reply suggests, that the redist/sum really needs to be done only once at the end of the time step, but that's probably not try, right? Do you need to redistribute each time the thickness has changed (no matter whether its advection or thermodynamics), or is it "OK" to have growth on HEFFITD that has been modified by advection and not be "redistributed"? In that case it would make sense to leave the redistribution in seaice_model.
