Hi Dan,

Did you try to run the TAF-AD experiment after your changes ?

Seems that most of the TAF AD tests of last night did failed for 
this experiment.
As you know, running testreport [options] -t halfpipe_streamice
on a fresh copy of MITgcm is a good and easy way to check.
