Dimitris,

that's not quite how staf works.
You need to transfer your taf key which fastopt enabled for you
to baudelaire and place it in ~/.ssh/,
otherwise you will be denied access to the TAF server,
no matter what the permissions of the staf script itself are.

You can get up-to-date staf script by simply doing
(on a machine where your old staf works)
staf -get staf
(same for manual: staf -get manual)

Then transfer that staf script 
(along with your taf key from/to ~/.ssh/) 
to baudelaire
