[MITgcm-devel] testing with modified optfiles

Hi Martin and Constantinos,

Martin, I did not see a recent test on sx8 (in september),
but if you restart this test, could you try the modified
optfile SUPER-UX_SX-8_sxf90_awi instead of the +mpi_awi one.
Since the plan is to move SUPER-UX_SX-8_sxf90+mpi_awi 
to build_options/unsupported/, it would be good to know 
that the modified one works.

Constantinos, If by chance you resume the test on bigred,
might be worth to try also with the modified optfile:
linux_ppc_xlf & linux_ppc64_xlf, + setting NETCDF_ROOT
(it's in the modified optfile top comments)
for the same reason.
