[MITgcm-devel] upcomming changes

Hi,

I've started to make some changes in genmake2, starting with
log file names (+ corresponding changes in testreport).
I will need to update all the .cvsignore at some point,
once I am sure that those changes are OK.
If you see a problem or something not consistent or 
not convenient with the new way it's done, let me know.

The next step will be to re-arrange some of the internal
test within genmake2 and to try to get more usefull information
written in the genmake.log file.

A completely differnt subject: going to switch the reference
compiler+platform from faulks+g77 to baudelaire+gfortran.
I will update the output today. To make thing easier,
would be better to delay (i.e., not today) changes in the code 
that affects the tested results.
