Dimitri,
Not that I love the optfile e-mail sagas, but I have 2 questions:
- did you check that  "-fp-model precise -ftz" doesn't break the restart 
problem
(notably for the cube-sphere set-ups) ? (the reason why there was -mp).
- why bothering about a deprecated option on Columbia ? I thought this
system was about to disappear (and there are not going to be much software
updates), no ?
