Pleiades is formally Intel64 (the latest name Intel has for what used to be
IA32e and then EM64T). It is essentially Intel's version of x86-64/x86_64 also
known as AMD64. You can read all the gory details in

and so far in MITgcm we've followed the rather common practice (as seen in the
wikipedia article) of using amd64 for both systems.
So check it in as linux_amd64_ifort+mpi_ice_nas
