hello jmc-

probably just co-incidence. unless, of course,
some bot was hitting both areas so hard that 
some stitch was dropped, causing both the
main aces-switch and httpd at forge to hiccup.

i just restarted httpd at forge and mitgcm.org
seems ok now.
