[MITgcm-devel] seaice code beyond checkoint61j blows for ECCO-GODAE

Hi Martin,

since the setup blows without the fix, you might as well check in the  
fix.
In the worst case it will still blow.
I thought I had tested it, but got lost between too many other tests
and setups, so need to redo it.
