Hi all,
do you agree with this (obcs_calc.F)?

It seems to reduce 名 徐 's problem (how on earth do you transcribe
this name?) dramatically, but since none of the verification
experiments test this code my changing this in the repository may
have unexpected effects for some users of thie code. Should I go
ahead and do it anyway (unless you think it's correct)?
