[MITgcm-devel] exf_yftype and cost_yftype

Hi Patrick,

Regarding those 2 parameters: exf_yftype & cost_yftype
Although they are read from parameter files (data.exf & data.ecco), 
looks like they are just "virtual" option: since all the arrays I saw
are declared "_RL", they have to be set to "RL".
(I am relatively confident that with #undef REAL4_IS_SLOW and
 exf_yftype='RS' the exf pkg will not work).

Should we change exf_check.F to stop if exf_yftype is not set to "RL" ?
