Hi Martin,
thanks for the summary.
As to CS-510, we have two options to test the latest code in adjoint run
1. turn on SEAICE_OLD_AND_BAD_DISCRETIZATION
(so actually this will exclude the latest code, right?)
2. take all new code, but set flag of metricterm to false
Will let you know the progress.
But the puzzle is that
pkg of seaice was turned OFF in backward integration
but it crashed (with new code).
