[MITgcm-devel] tags and TAMC-compatibility

Hi there,

I'd like to make a succession of two "clean" tags very soon
(i.e. this week). Here's why:

Up to now we've been using TAF with a special flag "-nonewarg".
Ralf had changed the argument list of adjoint routines
in moving from TAMC to TAF (maybe to make it incompatible?),
but has kept the old oder via this flag.
We've agreed that the exch2 hand-written adjoint would no longer use
this flag,
and the hand-written exch2 routines follow this.

Now that we seem to have the cubed-sphere adjoint fully working
I'd like to have a "clean" checkpoint60
which is the last checkpoint using "-nonewarg"
and then immediately move to checkpoint61 which doesn't use it anymore.

Let me know if you have any objection.
-p.
