[MITgcm-devel] Problem with lab_sea adjoint test

Patrick, what is involved in running the lab_sea adjoint test? I do have access
to a TAF license at JPL. I tried "testreport -t lab_sea -adm" without success.
Are there other options that I need to turn on? I really want to be able to
run the lab_sea adjoint test locally so that I don't break the adjoint every
time I change something.

Is DIFFERENT_MULTIPLE still causing trouble? If so, we can comment or CPP it
out. I don't think that anybody uses that capability at the moment.

That part was not working very well so I removed it altogether.

Could we stick with code of three weeks ago for the Arctic optimization? There
has been no significant changes in pkg/seaice that are used in the Arctic
configuration. Two-week-old or even a bit older vintage code is fine.
