Hi Dimitris,
All the tested exp fail to compile on edvir, because of a type mismatch
(missing _d 0, but probably better to declare a _RL variable "one"):

The other thing is that an #ifdef ALLOW_SALT_PLUME could
be added at the beginning of this S/R , no ?
And still thinking that the whole SaltPlume would be better in
pkg/seaice rather than in the main model (common blocks, initialisation
... etc).
