[MITgcm-devel] in-situ temperature

Hi Patrick etal.

sw_ptmp can be used for potential -> in-situ, just by exchanging  
pressure and reference pressure. So I can use this, however, wouldn't  
it be good to have this routine (and sw_adtg, which  is called from  
sw_ptmp) in a more general place, like model/src? Now I have to  
recode/copy them for a specfic package ...

Also, does it make sense to put these two routines into one file (for  
easier inlining, think of poor NEC SX users)?

BTW, this is the LSG way of conversion: in-situ = potiential + depth 
(in m)/1000 * 0.12
