[MITgcm-devel] Problems in thsice

Hi,

I found few little problems in thsice:
in thsice_calc_thickn.F, should:
 1) growth vertically (and not laterally) if iceFrac == iceMaskMax
 2) melt laterally only if hIce < hThinIce (as the comments say)
and in thsice_extend.F, should:
 3) allow to form ice even when iceFrac == iceMaskMax
     (by increasing thickness)
 4) start to form ice as soon as the minimum ice-volume is reachable.

Right now (checkpoint59a), all those changes are "checked-in" but
commented out. I am running some set-up to see if it's ok,
and plan to really check-in the 4 fixes after (+ update the
output.txt).
