Hi,

If the failed test experiments were all adjoint runs than my guess is  
that it is crashing in mdsio_writevector because StoreDynVars3D is  
too large. To confirm this see if the last thing written before the  
crash were the tapelev_init_1_the_main_loop files.

If it is the culprit the options are to either get rid of this  
variable, or to split it into 2-4 smaller files.
