[MITgcm-devel] advection scheme incompatibility

Hi

Some weeks ago I posted a note about problems using implicit vertical  
advection AND a nonlinear flux limiting
advection scheme (specifically, #33) together. With a bit of  
hindsight it is obvious the two should NEVER be
used together. (Alistair confirmed this yesterday.) I suggest that S/ 
R CONFIG_CHECK or GAD_INIT issue a
warning or error that the two are incompatible (in the unlikely event  
someone as foolish as I was tries to use
them together).
