[MITgcm-devel] KPP and smoothing

Hi all,

Does someone knows something about the
smoothing options of KPP ?
 From kpp_check.F, I get that activating any of these options
would require Olx=Oly=4, but the warning message has been
disabled by a CPP key (KPP_REACTIVATE_OL4).
So, if I get it correctly, you need to want overlap=4 to
get the message that you need overlap=4 if you are using
a smoothing option. Right ?
Does it mean that you don't really need overlap=4 with
the smoothing options ?
Or more generally, any advice about these options (on the
cube) ?
