Hi David,
I'm cc-ing mitgcm-devel since others may want to see it.
You need to do just four things:
1) put all the stuff you want to send into a tar file (see how
testreport does it)
2) use the "mpack" command as contained in:
MITgcm/tools/mpack-1.6
to MIME-encode the tar-file within the email and send he email
3) send the email to either edhill at mitgcm.org or a soon-to-be-created
generic testing account that will do exactly the same thing
4) make sure the subject line is "MITgcm-test" since that's
what the processing scripts look for -- again see testreport for
an example
and that's it!
