Hi Jean-Michel,

you are absolutely right. It should be called before 
external_forcing_surf. I was only concerned about sea-level 
rise, and that worked also when EmPmR had zero mean (with 
surfaceTendencyS being different). I can fix that tomorrow, go 
ahead if you can't wait until then (o:
