[MITgcm-devel] balance fluxes in exf

Hi,
thanks for the replies. I have now implemented a routine that can
substract the mean of either EmPmR or/and Qnet in exf_getforcing.F.
However, while this balances the fluxes, the mean sea surface height
is still drifting.
I suspect (but haven't look into it yet), that the seaice-model
changes empmr to cause this drift. What I should probably do is to
call this balancing routine after or at the end of
do_oceanic_physics.F to make sure that the fluxes are balanced. Then
it would no longer be part of the exf-package.
What do you think about this? Is there a need for this.
