[MITgcm-devel] PGI license manager problems

Hi Jean-Michel,

I've been trying to see why the ao testing scripts have been failing for
the last few days and the best I can figure out is:

  1) There was a hung PBS job for the ifort testing which I've removed.
That would help explain the ifort failures.

  2) The PGI testing is currently failing with a lot of messages of
     form:

pgcc-linux86: LICENSE MANAGER PROBLEM: Licensed number of users already
reached
Feature: pgcc-linux86
License path: /usr/local/pkg/pgi/pgi-5.2/license.dat
FLEXlm error: -4,132
For further information, refer to the FLEXlm End User Manual,
available at "www.macrovision.com".
make: *** [ptwrapper.o] Error 2
make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....

so I manually "kill -9"-ed the hung compilers and it seems
to be moving forward now. I also got rid of the "-j 2"
option so we don't use 2X the number of licenses.

  3) No idea why the other tests are failing since we now have
plenty of disk space after Chris ran the scratch-disk
     cleanup scripts.
